Card Game inspired by Gilbert & Sullivan

This set of cards is inspired by Gilbert & Sullivan´ s opera "The Yeomen of the Guard". The different colours show the storyline:
Spades show the imprisonment of Fairfax,
Diamonds the escape and rescue with the help of the Merylls,
Clubs show how he pretended to be dead and the lie of the jester and Shadbolt,
Hearts reveal the love of Elsie and Fairfax and the Death of the Jester.
As the setting is the Tower of London, the backside of the cards will show it. I combined it with the most famous song of "The Yeomen of the Guard" ("I´ve got a song to sing, o).
The following three pictures show the print sheets of the cards. I drew the characters by hand at first, then put them into Illustrator and finally did the layout in inDesign. I created the colours as well, the Font I used is Campanile.
Then, the sheets were printed :)
The package.
Final result! A set of 52 playing cards with package and ready to play!
